  • Why does the following EDAC messages gets logged in /var/log/messages ?

    kernel: EDAC i5000 MC0: NON-FATAL ERRORS Found!!! 1st NON-FATAL Err Reg= 0x800
kernel: EDAC i5000:  NON-Retry  Errors, bits= 0x800

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise linux 5.2
  • kernel-2.6.18-92.el5
