Rebooting a RHEL7.1 system with autofs mounted NFS share hangs on umounting these NFS shares
Issue
- A RHEL7 system can't reboot because network is first shutdown and then it tries to unmount NFS shares.
- RHEL7u1 instances with NFS (automount) home shares
- workaround is possible to make with systemd unit files dependencies.
- Feedback from Red Hat was that it was fixed in RHEL7u2 with systemd rebase.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.1
- NFS mounted home directories using autofs
