Can ntpdate be used as it is deprecated in RHEL7?

ntpdateis considered deprecated in RHEL7. Canntpdatebe used in RHEL7? In that case, will it be supported?
Resolution
There should be no problem and Red Hat will support it as long as it is shipped it in RHEL 7. For RHEL 8, refer to ntpdate is no longer available in RHEL8 so what can be used to sync time immediately?.
