'SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error: Unspecified GSS failure' when running 'ldapsearch' GSSAPI bind using a Kerberos credential
Issue
When authenticating Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) clients using Microsoft Active Directory, the following error is seen when attempting a GSSAPI bind using a Kerberos credential via the ldapsearch command:
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Local error (-2) additional info: SASL(-1): generic failure: GSSAPI Error: Unspecified GSS failure. Minor code may provide more information (Server not found in Kerberos database)
