Running JWS as a service on RHEL while JWS installed as ZIP file

Issue

• Traditionally, run JWS as service need use rpm package install JWS, but if we do not want to install JWS through rpm, how to implement run JWS as service?
• I downloaded JBoss Web Server v3 and plan on using httpd as a service. There does not seem to be an init script, so I cannot just add the service to chkconfig ( chkconfig --add ) and allow sysV to manage the service. What are recommendation on running JBoss Web Server v3 HTTPD service?
