JBoss EAP clustered members not discovering each other

Solution Verified - Updated -

  • Horizontal Clustered members not discovering each other
  • Jboss not able to form TCP cluster.
  • The 2 instances are NOT able to discover each other and DO NOT form a cluster.
  • I've started up two nodes with the options

    -Djboss.bind.address=xxx.xxx.xxx.xx1 -Djboss.messaging.ServerPeerID=1
    -Djboss.bind.address=xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2 -Djboss.messaging.ServerPeerID=2

it seems that they are not joining the cluster. But from the log I think that they are trying to communicate. I see the following entry in one of the logs

ERROR [org.jgroups.protocols.pbcast.NAKACK] (Incoming-5, sender not found in xmit_table
ERROR [org.jgroups.protocols.pbcast.NAKACK] (Incoming-5, range is null
