System registered to RHSM successfully but the system profile on the customer portal shows the certificate status as "unknown" or shows the message "Product entitlement certificates are invalid".

Issue

  • Certification status "unknown" on customer portal for system registered via Red Hat Subscription Manager.
  • While accesing RHSM from the customer portal, I see the message "Product entitlement certificates are invalid" even though we can successfully download packages from RHN.
