[Satellite6] repository syncs fails with SSL related error in Actions::Katello::Repository::ErrataMail subtask

Issue

Repository syncs are reporting warnings saying: "Sync Incomplete"
production.log shows error SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed (OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError)
Task details show the sync task failed in Actions::Katello::Repository::ErrataMail subtask with the same error
I get this error in production.log:

2015-09-09 11:00:04 [E] hostname does not match the server certificate (OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError)
