FTP transfer takes 90 seconds when file is on an NFS mounted volume
Issue
We are seeing slowness when we try to FTP data from a RHEL 6.6 Server. FTP test results of a local disk vs. an FTP-mounted RHSS disk:
- FTP of a 70 MB file on a local disk takes 8 seconds.
- FTP of a 70 MB file on an NFS-mounte RHSS storage disk takes 98 seconds.
