Why do i see the JBREM000200: Remote connection failed in JBoss EAP6 logs ?

Issue

  • What is the meaning of following kind of message in JBoss Console output and in JBoss server.log.
ERROR [org.jboss.remoting.remote.connection] (Remoting "localhost:MANAGEMENT" read-1) JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: java.io.IOException: Received an invalid message length of 1195725856
ERROR [org.jboss.remoting.remote.connection] (Remoting "localhost:MANAGEMENT" read-1) JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer
ERROR [org.jboss.remoting.remote.connection] (Remoting "appserver2:MANAGEMENT" read-1) JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: org.xnio.channels.ReadTimeoutException: Read timed out
  • Getting following error messages in console log file:
ERROR (org.jboss.remoting.remote.connection) [Remoting "hostname:servername" read-1] JBREM000200: Remote connection failed: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer
