RHEL NFS4 client cannot mount an Aix NFS share - mount.nfs: Remote I/O error
Issue
- Unable to mount an AIX share from a RHEL6 or RHEL7 NFS client
- mount fails with "Remote I/O error"
- tcpdump shows
NFS4ERR_RESOURCEcoming back as a response to GETATTR
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or 7 (NFS client)
- Aix NFS server
