[RHEL 6, RHEL7] Error messages with mpt3sas

Issue

  • The customer thinks this is a regression from mpt2sas. There are 12 self-encrypted Intel SSD SC2BA 800G3 drives [sdd to sdo] that are accessed through mpt3sas. The instructions at https://access.redhat.com/solutions/634483 have been followed - with the mpt3sas driver has been blacklisted, the server boots without problems. On modprobe mpt3sas, errors are seen:
