All rhev hosts switched to Non-Responsive state after upgrading Java on the RHEV Manager

Issue

  • All hosts in every cluster go down after upgrading Java to java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.75-2.5.4.0.el6_6.
  • Hosts are reported Unresponsive and VMs are in Unknown status on the Admin Portal.
  • New host and cluster. Hypervisor installation terminates at trying to start vdsm.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.4.4 and earlier
  • java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.75-2.5.4.0.el6_6
