Not able to start rpcbind service "rpc.statd[2391]: failed to create RPC listeners, exiting"
Issue
- When issuing the
rpcinfo -pcommand, the following error is present:
$ rpcinfo -p
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
/var/log/messagesshows the following:
rpc.statd[2391]: failed to create RPC listeners, exiting"
