iscsiadm command shows error 'No records found'

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We have exported 40 gb partiton (/dev/cciss/c0d0p10) through iSCSI protocol. The command tgt-admin -s is showing LUN details on target but we are not able to scan it, the iscsiadm command shows following error on initiator:

    $ tgt-admin -s
    Target 1: iqn.2015-01.new.target:disk1
        System information:
            Driver: iscsi
            State: ready
    [...]

    $ iscsiadm -m node -T iqn.2015-01.new.target:disk1 -p 192.168.0.19:3260 -l
    iscsiadm: No records found

    $ iscsiadm -m session
    No active sessions.

The iscsiadm command shows different target IQN from the one reported by tgt-admin -s command on iSCSI target:

    $ iscsiadm -m discovery -t sendtargets -p 192.168.0.19:3260
    192.168.0.19:3260, iqn.2015-01.old.target:disk1
