CLVMD_STOP_TIMEOUT in /etc/sysconfig/cluster or /etc/sysconfig/clvmd is not honored and does not affect how long the clvmd init script will wait to timeout in RHEL 5 and 6 Resilient Storage clusters
Issue
- I need to change the
CLVMD_STOP_TIMEOUTin/etc/sysconfig/clusterbecause I use a higher token setting, but when I change the value it doesn't seem to have any effect. CLVMD_STOP_TIMEOUTis not honored by theclvmdinit script
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the Resilient Storage Add On
lvm2-clusterlocking_type = 3in/etc/lvm/lvm.confclvmdchkconfig'd on or being started manuallyCLVMD_START_TIMEOUTset to a value in/etc/sysconfig/clusteror/etc/sysconfig/clvmd
