Is it possible to Change the default connection settings for the interface created with NetworkManager in RHEL7?
Issue
- We note that by default all new connections are created with
ipv4.never-default no(DEFROUTE=yes). - This means that
NetworkManagerwill move the default route to other interfaces created later causing the actual gateway of the host to be unreachable which is undesireable. - Is there a way to make connections default to
ipv4.never-default yes(DEFROUTE=no) for all new connections created so forth withNetworkManager? - Is is possible to configure/change
NetworkManagerdefault connection settings?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL)7.0.
- NetworkManager.
