Issue

Bonding interface cannot communicate after update to RHEL 6.5
When the Bonding was first setup, everything worked as expected. After a server update and reboot, the bond0 is still present but the server no longer can communicate with my other subnets.
The following message is logged into /var/log/messages:

NetworkManager[PID]: ifcfg-rh: warning: NM_CONTROLLED was false but HWADDR or SUBCHANNELS was missing; device will be managed

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.5
NetworkManager-0.8.1-75.el6
Bonding or bridge (optional, can happen to any interface)
