mod_cluster health checks
Issue
- Is there any way mod_cluster can verify the health of a JBoss node before proxying a request to it?
- mod_cluster is still sending requests to unresponsive JBoss instances.
- We executed a Heap Dump and it caused downtime' seconds. Why does it happen? We have mod_cluster, which should detect this and change the node, isn't it?

- JBoss Enterprise Web Server (EWS) 2.x
- Apache httpd
