LVM filter is not being honored.

Issue

• The LVM filter has been set to only accept specific devices still all the devices are getting scanned.

filter = [ "a|/dev/sda2$|", "a|/dev/mapper/mpath.*|", "r|.*|" ] 

Following messages were seen inspite of the above mentioned filter.
