parted reports "The backup GPT table is not at the end of the disk"

Issue

  • Due to some san outage or some san issue the disk path can be seen as faulty, and GPT shows alternate disk label is not at correct place. How to fix it?
  • After resizing the san disk to a larger size, parted is reporting this when reading the partition table.
