Neighbor Solicitation sent with every packet after RA route changed
Issue
- Router Advertized route is lowest metric route for a route class, e.g. default.
ip -6 route changemodified Router Advertisement created route, change includes gateway modification.- Router Advertised packet received after
ip -6 route changeto re-add RA route. - Neighbour Table purged of RA route gateway address by neighbour garbage collection
- Every (or almost every) sent packet results in Neighbour Solicitation to the gateway of the Router Advertised route.
sysctl net.ipv6.conf.*.accept_ra = 1
