NetXen NIC firmware hang detected on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Issue

  • An HP machine with ASR (Automatic System Recovery - HP process) enabled rebooted with firmware hangs in the logs. Below is a snippet from the messages log showing the firmware hang messages followed by a system boot (ASR stepped in and rebooted the machine).
