RHEV 3.2 - Thinly provisioned guests are paused and not resumed due to AttributeError: 'Drive' object has no attribute 'format'
Issue
- VMs are totally off and cannot start.
- RHEV Manager is reporting vms are paused. These vms cannot be resumed.
- Thinly provisioned guests are paused but not resumed.
- Also unable to migrate guests to other hosts during this time.
- Following traceback present in the
/var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log
of a host:

- Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.2
- VDSM upgraded from
4.9-113.4.el6_3
to4.10.2-22.0
without a reboot. - vdsmd service restarted without a reboot.
