After detecting a resource failure, pacemaker restarts the resource on same node instead of relocating it to another node
Issue
- After detecting a resource failure, pacemaker restarts the resource on same node instead of relocating it to another node.
- We configured two resources - lsb script, it is available in
/etc/init.d, andIPaddr2. While stopping the script outside of cluster, pacemaker is restarting it on same node instead of failing over to another node. - How to avoid restart of a resource in a node on failure and relocate it to other node after a specific number of failure attempts?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7,8 or 9 with High Availability Add-Ons
