'Unexpected internal error near index 1' when trying to rename files in JBDS

Issue

• We are migrating from EDS 5.3.1 to JBoss Data Virtualization 6.0 and running into some JBoss Developer Studio (Teiid Designer) 7.1.1 Issues:
  When trying to rename files (Right-click -> Refactor -> Rename) I see the following error. This seems to prevent me from renaming any file:

Unexpected internal error near index 1

From what I understand this issue is present only when developing on Windows.
