How are old LVM archive files under /etc/lvm/archive rotated on Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
Issue
- When using the below settings in lvm.conf:
- retain_min=10
- retain_days=30
- Need to know which job removes the old files under /etc/lvm/archive older than 30 days.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- LVM2 is in use on one or more storage devices
- Either retain_min and retain_days is configured, or you are interested about how these values work.
