Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.8 で 3TB USB ドライブにアクセスできません

Issue

• RHEL システムを RHEL 5.8 にアップグレードし、カーネルバージョン kernel-2.6.18-308.13.1.el5 をインストールしましたが、3TB ドライブにアクセスすることができず、以下のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

$ sudo parted /dev/sdb
