httpd mod_proxy エラー: Connection reset by peer

Issue

  • mod_proxy でhttpd をリバースプロキシとして使用し、Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) をバックエンドとして使用すると、httd からアクセスする際に以下のエラーが表示されますが、IIS に直接アクセスすると動作します。
    [error] [client 10.186.12.173] (104)Connection reset by peer: proxy: error reading status line from remote server example.com
[error] [client 10.186.12.173] proxy: Error reading from remote server returned by /example
  • mod_proxy から、httpd を使用してリクエストを JBoss に転送する場合に、このエラーが頻繁に発生します。
  • 502 プロキシエラーの原因: リモートサーバーからの読み取りエラー
