Issue

  • ネットワークに失敗しました。vmxnet3 ドライバーを削除して再度接続しても失敗します。サーバーを再起動しても再度失敗します。e1000 nic でも同じ問題が発生します。/var/log/messages に、以下のメッセージが表示されます。
kernel:NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth0 (vmxnet3): transmit queue 0 timed out
kernel: eth0: tx hang
kernel: eth0: resettting
kernel: eth0: intr type 3, mode 0, 5 vectors allocated
kernel:Failed to activate dev eth0: error 1

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4
  • VMware vSphere Distributed Switch (VDS) を使用し、vShield Endpoint または Trend Micro Deep Security のいずれかまたはその両方と共存する VMware ESX 5.1
