Issue

  • kdump を有効し、kdump サービスを再起動すると以下のエラーが発生します。

    Memory for crashkernel is not reserved
    Please reserve memory by passing "crashkernel=X@Y" parameter to the kernel
    Stopping kdump:                                            [FAILED]
    Starting kdump:                                            [FAILED]
    
  • "cat /proc/cmdline" の出力:

    ro root=/dev/mapper/vg00-slashvol rd_LVM_LV=vg00/slashvol rd_LVM_LV=vg00/swapvol rd_NO_LUKS rd_NO_MD rd_NO_DM LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 
    KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=us crashkernel=128M@16M
    
  • /etc/kdump.conf のコンテンツ:

    ext4 UUID="462a96ed-d571-45e6-b752-4e3b24199469"
    path /crash
    
  • /etc/sysconfig/kdump は変更せず、システムの起動時に kdump サービスが起動するように設定しました。
