サーバーがアクティブな NTP プロセスを複数示すのはなぜですか?
Issue
- RHEL サーバーに複数の NTP プロセスがあります。
- この問題は、多くの場合サーバーが再起動した後に発生します。
- この問題は、手動で NTP デーモンを再起動すると解決します。
# ps -ef | grep ntp
ntp 15026 1 0 11:29 ? 00:00:00 ntpd -u ntp:ntp -p /var/run/ntpd.pid -g
root 15029 15026 0 11:29 ? 00:00:00 ntpd -u ntp:ntp -p /var/run/ntpd.pid -g
root 15043 8054 0 11:29 pts/0 00:00:00 grep ntp
- NTP が、ログファイルに
permission deniedおよびhost name not foundエラーを返します。
Jan 14 17:22:05 serverA ntpd_initres[4877]: host name not found: time.company.net
Jan 14 17:23:07 serverA ntpd_initres[4877]: host name not found: time.company.net
Jan 14 17:25:09 serverA ntpd_initres[4877]: ntpd returns a permission denied error!
