Issue

  • /var/log/messages に以下のメッセージのログが記録されます。 
nfsidmap: name_lookup: nfs4_uid_to_name: failed:Success in /var/log/messages.

Resolution

  • この問題の修正が BZ #1061505 でリリースされました。
  • 修正は nfs-utils-1.2.3-44.el6 に含まれます。

Root Cause

  • エラーコードを返す標準の方法が 2 つあります。'-1' を返し、グローバルな errno 変数を実際のエラーコードに設定する関数もあれば、コードを返すだけの関数もあります。
  • nfs4_* ファミリーのファンクションは後者を行いますが、その際、間違って呼び出すコードは前者をしていると推測するため、実際のエラーコードは無視され、代わりに errno が調べられます。これが 0 になると "Success" メッセージが表示されます。
