Issue

• yum update が [Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (-2, 'Name or service not known') エラーで失敗します。
• Red Hat Network からパッケージをダウンロードしていると "Temporary failure in name resolution" が発生し yum に失敗します。
• HTTP Error 400: Bad Request で yum に失敗します。

• 以下のエラーで yum に失敗します。

  # yum check-update 
  Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security 
  rhel-x86_64-server-5                                     | 1.4 kB     00:00 
  Error: failed to retrieve repodata/7c90eaea9d2a7095c6f7943b1fc1b5e9dc58cd10-primary.xml.gz from rhel-x86_64-server-5

• " Error: certificate verify failed " エラーで yum update に失敗します。

• yum update に失敗し、以下のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

  Error: failed to retrieve repodata/666c5761e33f453c00e26e9bafc5f63275e9aae78bf0e2dfd2c19f34ceefdc27-primary.xml.gz from rhel-x86_64-server-6
  error was [Errno 14] Peer cert cannot be verified or peer cert invalid
  

• yum update に失敗し、以下のエラーメッセージが表示されます。

  Error: failed to retrieve repodata/20e414feb7b32f7cbaba88f20fb91793f46a3a30d43747bbd6c689db2bb27988-primary.xml.gz from rhel-x86_64-server-6
  error was [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 7 - "couldn't connect to host"
  

• システムを RHN に登録し yum パッケージを実行してシステムをアップデートすると、依存関係が解決し、インストールまたはアップグレードされるパッケージとサイズの一覧が表示されますが、[Y] キーを押してインストールを先に進めるとハングアップし、先に進みません。
