Seperating Configuration Files in EAP 6.x
In earlier release there was a way to have separate configuration files. How is this done in EAP 6? We use several appenders in log4j and would want to separate this outside the standalone.xml file. The same applies to datasource connections, would not want the data source to be reset when a log setting is modified. Looks like all the configuration entries are now in the standalone.xml
Responses
In EAP 6, the configuration is located inside a standalone.xml or domain.xml to make life easier, many users complained about many scattered files in EAP 4, 5.
Applications can have separate log4j settings, see

Also, you can deploy datasource files (file-ds.xml)

But, the administration console is not able to manage them, they are not visible to the jboss administration console.
