OS config to force DNS resolution to always go to DNS instead of cache

How to configure RHEL8 OS to make sure all requests to resolve DNS names will always go to DNS instead of local cache ?
We have a DR system that change A records for remote names however the old IP is still valid.
This is causing that when the app running on RHEL8 trying to connect to that remote service is obtaining the previous IP instead of that defined within DNS .
