RHEL 9.2 installation fails, cannot download firmware package

Hi,
Trying to install RHEL9.2 from the Boot ISO as server installation with no additional packages.
Installer runs for a while, then comes back with the following message:

"""
The following error occurred while installing the payload. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted.

Failed to download the following packages: linux-firmware-20230310-135.el9_2.noarch: Cannot download, all mirrors were already tried without success.
"""

My only option at this point is "Exit Installer".
Did some Internet search but came up empty-handed. Network seems to be working as I could register the installation. The checksum on the ISO also verified ok.

Any ideas what might be the issue here and how to fix it?

Edited to add that I now also tried the DVD ISO, with the same result. A prior installation of RHEL 8.8 had gone through without a hitch.
