Satellite host def tied to different VM
I recently migrated my Satellite server, hosted on VMware, from RHEL 7 to RHEL 8, by creating a new RHEL 8 VM and using backup/restore. This involved creating the new host with a different IP/hostname, and changing its IP and hostname when I cut over to it as the new Sat server.
Everything is working fine except this: Satellite still knows the new VM called (in Sat's world) "dc-newsatellite" is the one that's still running. However, the guest OS on that VM is now dc-rhsatellite, the original hostname (and IP also) for the Sat server, and is registered as such. So that host is still listed in Satellite's host listing also, and is the one that shows true up-to-date number of recommendations and last-report time. But if I tell Satellite to power off dc-newsatellite, it powers off the new Sat server because that's what's running on the VM originally created as dc-newsatellite. Is there a way to correct this so that "dc-rhsatellite" in the host listing is associated with the newer VM? (screen shot of the two hosts attached.)
