How to create a LiveCD out of a customized VM of RHEL?

Hello. I am trying to make a live cd out of an RHEL 9 VM that has custom software project running on it. I've been looking into livecd-creator, but I'm not sure that's really what I need to do this. It seems to be for creating livecd installation disks and what I really need is for it to basically boot the already installed and configured RHEL VM to a bootable iso where everything writable is basically on RAM.

Is what I'm doing possible with livecd-creator? Are there other tools better suited to it? I'm also currently looking into linux-live kit, but if there are better options, I would appreciate any suggestions.
