Server not accessible

In our environment, we have an application deployed on a virtual machine that has RHEL 7.8 installed
Sometimes server becomes inaccessible; the application is not accessible in browser and the server cannot be accessed even through SSH
Only hard restart resolve the problem temporarily
what could be the cause ?
what configurations, log files should be analyzed ?
