Java EE support in JBoss EAP 8

Latest response

Hi,

according to the release notes for the JBoss EAP 8.0 Beta (https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_jboss_enterprise_application_platform/8-beta/html-single/release_notes_for_red_hat_jboss_enterprise_application_platform_8.0_beta/index#new_features_and_enhancements:~:text=2.1.-,JBoss%20EAP%208.0%20Beta%20and%20Jakarta%20EE%2010,-JBoss%20EAP%208.0) it is planned to have a full support of Jakarta EE 10. Does it mean that Jakarta EE 10 is required and Java EE is no longer supported?
I am aware that it is highly recommended to migrate from Java EE to Jakarta EE but is that is not still possible because of some business reasons, does it mean that the switch from JBoss EAP 7 to JBoss EAP 8 is not possible?

Kind regards
