"broken pipe" on shutdown in RHEL 7

Latest response

I just finished getting my kickstart installation to work, so I'm now just starting to play with some of the "guts" of 7. One thing I notice is when I do a shutdown -h now, my terminal doesn't get a wall message and disconnected like it has previously. It will after a while (maybe 10 min?) time out and give me a broken pipe message. Could be my terminal settings, but like I said it has worked with RHEL5 and RHEL6 with no issues.

Really annoying bug. No solution yet, but there is a bugzilla report @ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1047614
