Hi Pratik,
Wow, that's a big topic! I don't know that anyone will be able to document the entire procedure for you here in the discussion Groups, but you should find some helpful resources and documentation through a search here on the Customer Portal. If you're having trouble with any particular aspect of the process or you have a more specific question, you're more than welcome to bring it up here.
Hi Pratik,
What do you mean by HPC? High Performance Computing?
If so, HPC and LAMP are not things I can image howto combine it in any kind of way.
Secondly, why use RHEV to create an LAMP cluster?
Would not Piranha be enough for your needs or Red Hat clustering?
It seems to me you want to go for a complete overkill.
If I were your client I would see this as a complete waist of money.
Sorry David, I do not want to steal money from Red Hat, but to me this is not an option someone should try to implement. Maybe for training purposes, but it is not a commercially viable option.
I would go for two U1 or U2 servers, RH Clustering and SAN or NAS shared datasore.
LAMP is fairly straightforward to configure using luci and ricci to setup your RH Cluster.
Due to its nature I cannot give you all the details, this subject is treated in a Red Hat training RH436.
Kind regards,
Jan Gerrit
