Submitting attachments via posts to discussions

In several groups there are discussions where scripts are posted in the bodies of comments.  This can make them difficult to read, post formatting can nuke spacing and generally some can be too large.  I've seen (and used) Pastebin services and other similar services to make things cleaner, but there isn't a standard method.

Can we get an official means for posting large files (scripts, configs, logs, etc) either via Pastebin service or some sort of attachment feature to the individual post?  This would contribute to readibility of the commenting system as well as providing a way to share larger content.
