Redhat Enterprise Virtulization 3.1 Memory OverCommit

I have overcommited the ram in redhat enterprise virtulization manager 3.1 of one of my VM

but the problem in with the overcommited ram i am unable to start the VM  it is saying failed

so what is the default ratio to overcommit the ram and how can i increased the overcommit ratio according to my requirments

The default overcommitting settings are in the cluster properties.  (See the following URL.)

I believe that the actual overcommitting settings are in the VM properties.  In the Resource Allocation tab, there is a setting named Memory Allocation.  (See the following URL.)  This is the amount of physical memory guaranteed for the VM.

I believe that the overcommitting ratio is:

the Memory Size from the General settings tab divided by the Memory Allocation
