RHEL 6.3 and 3D acceleration as a VMware Workstation 9.0.1 guest?

Hi all,

I have a RHEL desktop guest running as a VMware Workstation 9.0.1 guest. According to glxinfo it uses only the SGI driver which seems a generic one. A Ubuntu 12.04 guest shows that the vmware x.org driver is loaded.

VMware tools are installed.

I tried to follow this guide (http://www.mesa3d.org/vmware-guest.html) but no success.

I fail here:

Anyhow, has someone a working howto for a RHEL 6.3 desktop running with 3D as a VMware Workstation or Fusion guest?
