Support for multiple python installs

Latest response

I would like to have to possiblity to have multiple versions of python installed. RHEL can have it's "stable" version, but I would like to have other (older, newer) versions installed next to it.

Fred, as you probably know, we already allow this functionality with the Developer Toolset[1], with the ability to allow newer upstream compilers reside next to current compilers in RHEL. This is done via Dynamic Software Collections[2], and Red Hat is currently expanding package sets to provide customers newer versions of popular packages as DSCs.

Hope this helps, and stay tuned! :-)
