Meet Ash Westbrook - our Red Hatter of the Week!

Latest response

This week's featured Red Hatter is Ash Westbrook.

In his own words:

"Hello, my name is Ash Westbrook and I am a Senior Technical Support Engineer (STSE) and Team Lead within Global Support Services at Red Hat, Inc. Originally from Fort Worth, TX, but I h

ave spent the last 22 years in Wake Forest, NC, around 30 miles from the Red Hat Tower. My masters degree is in Intercultural Studies from Southeastern College, but the learning never ends with graduation. One of the best things about Red Hat is there is always something new to learn, an essential for an information junkie like me!

I have been with Red Hat Global Support since January 2008. I work primarily with other support engineers focusing on the Sysmgmt products such as: Satellite, Proxy, Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM), Red Hat Subscription Asset Manager (SAM) and the Red Hat Update Infrastructure (RHUI). Within the speciality group, my main responsibility and what I enjoy the most is collaborating with other engineers globally.

As a Team Lead within Red Hat, I work with the entire Raleigh support and management team to fulfil our daily internal processes and responsibilities.

In my off hours, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, studying new technologies and riding or repairing any type of bicycle."

Stay tuned for more from Ash throughout the week.
