RHEVM: Event Notifier email alerts are not being received

Hi

 

Possible bug in v3.0.   Could you please confirm ?

 

Simply, alert emails generated by Event Notifier are not being recieved.

Email is operational from the RHEV-M server as I'm able to successfully send to my specified email address using mailx.

I experience the same issue. Both in 3.0 and 3.1

I would request you to refer https://access.redhat.com/site/solutions/131213 and verify that it has been configured properly.

After following the article the notfications now works.

Did these extra steps to enable start at boot:
# chkconfig --add engine-notifierd
# chkconfig engine-notifierd on

Sadique has forwarded you the KB article. Looks to have been updated with the additional information required to get it going which is great.   Thanks for that.

A bugzilla was also generated from the support case I raised and the official documentation has been amended to reflect.

I'm glad to hear that you've managed to get it working.
