Upgrading RHEV6.2 hypervisor host using YUM

Latest response

Is upgrading RHEV6.2 hypervisor through console(yum) is possible??

If you are speaking about rhev-h as hypervisor, no.

Please refer below doc to know about supported upgrade methods.

If you are using RHEL based hypervisor, you can just do "yum update" to update the hypervisor.

Just to add one thing - if you're updating a RHEL host with yum, make sure you place the host in maintenance mode first. If no updates require a reboot, it would still be a good idea to at least restart vdsmd
